Featured artifact: Ceramic plate
Octar Harry Copson (1883-1936) was born in Worcester, England and died in Corvallis, Oregon, USA. Like his father before him, O.H. Copson painted porcelain for Royal Worcester. This plate is from the estate of his son, Godfrey Vernon Copson (1884-1953), who was an Oregon Agricultural College graduate and faculty member. The museum collection includes other paintings by O.H. Copson, including paintings on canvas, ceramic and furniture.
